Pianist Tianyu Tina Deng, recipient of numerous awards across the world in piano performance, piano collaboration and teaching & education, reflects on her aspirations as a solo and collaborative pianist.

Tianyu began her studies of the piano at the age of five. In 2013, she was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts under the tutelage of Professor Eleanor Wong. She continues her piano study with Dr. Marc Silverman at Manhattan School of Music starting from 2017.

Other than piano performance, Tianyu takes an active role in piano collaboration and piano education. As a chamber musician, she was awarded the Best Piano Accompaniment of the Sixth Hong Kong International Violin Competition and Prize for Best Piano Collaborator by Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Tianyu was awarded the Distinguished Teacher Award at the 11th Zhongsin International Music Competition and the 10th and 11th Hong Kong International Music and Arts Competition.

Golden Key Piano School is Berkeley, California’s best kept secret which is now launching its second location in Manhattan. It has developed an excellent reputation ever since it opened in 2003. The school has been voted Best of Berkeley in Music eight times and was chosen as a Top Music Program in the region. The success has its roots in the crème de la crème of Russian methods Artobolevskaya which focuses on creativity and love of music.

Sophiko Simsive June 20th 12PM EST

Sophiko Simsive, piano (Tbilisi, Georgia), has won numerous awards and accolades including first prize at Yamaha Piano Competition in Amsterdam, first prize at the Music Academy of the West and she has become the winner of the Concerto Competition at Yale School of Music as well as Manhattan School of Music. Sophiko is represented by Interartists Amsterdam Management and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the Manhattan School of Music with Dr. Solomon Mikowsky.

Geoffrey Ladue June 5th 9PM EST

Geoffrey Ladue is an 18-year-old graduate of Lafayette High School. He has earned many accolades as both a concert pianist and trombonist, including the gold prize of the St. Louis Young Artist Piano Competition and a three-year member of the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Purdue Univeristy - Purdue Bands & Orchestra serves as the “Heartbeat of the University” and encourages a lifelong journey with music.

Nan-Cheng Chen May 22nd 9PM EST

Annabel & Harriet Gensler May 15th 9PM EST

Fourteen-year-old pianists Annabel and Harriet Gensler have been playing the piano for 8 years, and are currently studying piano with Professor Hans Boepple. They hold titles in various piano competitions including Outstanding Gold Medalists at the United States Open Music Competition.

The Bill Wilson Center is a charitable organization in Santa Clara County, California, whose mission is to help more than 4,100 homeless youth and families.

Helen Sung May 8th 8pm EST

Winner of the Kennedy Center's Mary Lou Williams Jazz Piano Competition and inaugural jazz artist-in-residence at Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute, Houston-born pianist/composer Helen Sung pursued classical studies before graduating from the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance. Alejandro Vela May 1st 8PM EST

Pianist Alejandro Vela has performed in recital and with well-known orchestras around the world. He attended Juilliard, earning both Bachelor's and Master's degrees under Yoheved Kaplinsky. Bryan Reeder

Bryan Reeder is a pianist and composer working in jazz, classical, and contemporary musics. He performs regularly in New York City, as well as throughout the US and abroad. Reeder has released a number of albums, recorded music for film, and performed as a band leader.

Steven Beck

In the 2019–20 season pianist Steven Beck performs Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals with the New York Philharmonic, and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. Steven Beck’s discography includes Lieberson’s Piano Concerto No. 3 (for Bridge Records) and Carter’s Double Concerto (Albany Records). He is a Steinway Artist.  

Eganam “ÉGO” Segbefia

Eganam “ÉGO” Segbefia got a humble start busking at the Grand Central Shuttle train station in 2015, and since then, has performed at notable venues across New York City such as The Greene Space, Cathedral of St. John The Divine, and the much-revered Carnegie Hall.

Georgia Bourderionnet

French-American cellist Georgia Bourderionnet has performed across the USA and France as well as in Germany, Canada, and South Korea. An enthusiastic performer of contemporary music, Ms. Bourderionnet has premiered a multitude of chamber works as a contemporary ensemble fellow of the Atlantic Music Festival and a member of Eastman’s Musica Nova and OSSIA ensembles.
